Aluminz
Creating a space for a novel idea
Aluminz. 0% waste. 100% benefit.
Aluminum is one of most recyclable materials on earth. But there’s a hidden environmental cost to that process—one that Aluminz was created to eliminate.
Each year more than a million metric tons of aluminum manufacturing byproducts go into landfills. There’s tremendous value locked in that waste, but it’s not been economically viable to recover it … until now.
The innovative closed-loop Aluminz process takes landfills entirely out of the equation. The company isn’t just improving recycling; it’s redefining it. Everything that comes out of the flagship solar-powered Aluminz facility in Mount Pleasant, Texas—the first of its kind in North America—can be reused or upcycled. Nothing is wasted. Zero landfill. Zero compromise.

No time lost. No opportunity missed.
While the Aluminz team had a solid industry background, the process at the heart of the new company was not well known. With no track record or market awareness to build upon, Aluminz needed to create a high-impact brand starting from scratch.
Using a streamlined rapid-development approach, the Tenet team developed a new name, brand strategy, logo, visual system, website and impactful copy with unprecedented speed. Key to the success of the project was responsiveness and trust across the board. Decisions were made quickly—often within hours—and team members were empowered to set direction.

A new brand for a brand new idea
An emphasis on sustainability as a fundamental driver of the company’s economic model informed brand development on multiple fronts, from naming to logo, visual design, brand story and website.
Tenet Partners created the company name “Aluminz”—a modern, distinct blend designed to communicate full circularity and tech-forward waste recovery while keeping aluminum at the heart of the approach. This gave the novel company a sense of place and made it more accessible to stakeholders.
A multi-purpose identity
Extending the verbal strategy, the Aluminz visual expression began with a logo that harkens to the well-known recycling symbol while echoing the angularity of the “A” and “Z” letter forms—a nod to the “A to Z” circularity that defines the company.
Combined, the visual and verbal identities thread the needle between a manufacturing company and a sustainable recycling leader, poising Aluminz to own the unique position it is striving to occupy.
