As an innovation and design consultant with over 20 years of high-impact work, I am still thrilled by an insight that widens eyes, a strategy that clicks and a solution that helps determine what’s next for a brand. I’ve worked with clients in consumer services, durable products and packaged goods, with flexible tools and processes that carry well across categories.
After undergrad and grad work in Psychology, followed by an MBA, I began my career as an innovation leader in the corporate world. After several years of building new products in consumer services, I became passionate about physical product design and migrated to consulting with a small design firm. I ran my own innovation and design firm, and then worked independently in design strategy and research, securing a US patent for an innovation methodology along the way.
I specialize in design strategy, research and relationship management for CPG and durables clients. I’ve led projects for 3M, GM, Kraft, PepsiCo and scores of others. I enjoy speaking at industry events and publishing articles on topics such as effective product innovation processes and design research and strategy tools.
