I always thought my biggest contribution to the Internet would be content, but after some time as a journalism student, I began teaching myself how to code. I learned the architecture of a website, how to make it interactive, how to feed it data. Code became my new passion, and drove me to a career as a web developer.
Being a web developer means my career gets to be my hobby. Living in Miami, Florida, I’m at a major intersection of international markets, burgeoning technology startups, and a thriving web development community. Participating in local developer meet-ups and contribute to civic hacking initiatives like Code for Miami lets me share and learn new concepts and ideas that I can then bring to bear at Tenet Partners.
Working with Tenet Partners means working on real-world problems every day, the sort of problems many companies and organizations may face. It also means giving my curiosity a space to grow. As a full-stack web developer, no two days are the same for me. Each challenge offers me the chance to learn something more, letting me hone my skills as a developer; a benefit I get to pass on to our clients.
